'Eaters in Fourth at Folino Invitational

CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif. --- UC Irvine is in fourth place after Monday's first round of the Folino Invitational at Industry Hills Golf Club (Eisenhower Course) in the City of Industry.
The second round was suspended due to darkness and will resume at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, immediately followed by the final round.
The Anteaters shot 297 in the opening round as UC Santa Barbara shot 285, Long Beach State 288 and CSUN 294.
UCI's Johnny Hyun shot a 1-over 73 for ninth place, Ryan O'Connor and Bryan Shin each shot 74 to tie for 13th, David Kim carded a 76 for 29th and Jonathan Kang 79 for 44th place. Chris Parkinson, competing as an individual, shot 81 for 49th.
Willy Moffly from UC Santa Barbara and Joe Fryer of Long Beach State shot rounds of 69 to tie for the individual lead after the first round.
