OFF THE TEE
UC Irvine will compete in the New Mexico State Aggie Invitational Monday-Wednesday (Oct. 3-5) at the New Mexico State Golf Course.
Teams will play 18 holes each day, beginning with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
The 10-team tournament features Boise State, Grand Canyon, North Dakota, South Dakota State, Stephen F. Austin, UTEP, University Texas Rio Grande Valley, Valparaiso and host Aggies.
The Anteaters have played on the NMSU Golf Course six times, posting the lowest 18-hole team score in program history (286) on the third round in 2008.
IN THE CLUBHOUSE
UCI had its second top 5 finish of the season with a fifth place showing at the Juli Inkster Spartan Invitational. The Anteaters had a 54-hole total of 905 (299-303-303).
Kaley In (76-75-73) and Camille Wagg (76-74-74) tied for 11th to lead the Anteaters with a score of 224.
In leads the team with a scoring average 73.50 over six rounds.
