IRVINE, Calif. --- UC Irvine resumes its 2016 competitive schedule Saturday in the 36th Annual UC Riverside Invitational.
Two women's races are scheduled, the 6,000-meter invitational at 7:30 a.m. and the 5,000-meter collegiate open at 8:45 a.m. Competition will be held at the UCR Agricultural Operations Course and admission price is $5.00 for spectators.
The Anteaters opened their season at the Pepperdine Invitational Sept. 1, going 3-1 in duals. UCI defeated the host Waves, Long Beach State and CSU Bakersfield, and narrowly fell to USC.
Senior Marisa Gonzalez led the Anteaters with a fifth-place finish in the 4,000-meter race at Malibu.

Directions/Parking for UC Riverside Invitational
To reach the Ag/Ops Course from the 215/60 freeway, exit Martin Luther King and go West. Turn left at the Canyon Crest traffic light and travel approximately 300 meters to the course entrance on the right. For parking in Lot 30, continue straight on Martin Luther King.
Parking for UCR home cross country meets is in Lot 30 located in the Northwest corner of Martin Luther King Boulevard and Canyon Crest Drive. Shuttles will be available to transport spectators from the parking lot to the course and back to the parking lot. A $5 fee is payable to the attendant on site. If no attendant is present, please use the dispenser located in the lot.
