LA JOLLA, Calif. --- Two UC Irvine student-athletes competed Friday on the first day of the Triton Invitational in La Jolla.
Freshman Barbara Coward placed 14th in the discus throw with a mark of 157-9.
Adrienne Lee, another UCI freshman, finished 24th in the pole vault at a height of 10-6.
Action resumes Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at Triton Track & Field Stadium.
