UC Irvine Remains In Eighth Place At Big West Championship

Kapalua, Hawaii – UC Irvine endured a rainy, windy front nine and were unable to make up ground on the second day of the Big West Women's Golf Championship at The Bay Course in Kapalua, Hawai'i.
The Anteaters shot a 335 Monday and are in eighth place with a score of 664 (329-335). Cal Poly (615) holds a three-shot lead over UC Riverside (618) and seven-shot advantage over Long Beach State heading in to the final round.
Breanne Jones continues to lead UCI with a score of 160 (80-80) and is tied for 23rd place. Samantha Chan (81-87), Camille Wagg (82-86) and Kristin Henno (86-82) are all tied for 34th place with a 36-hole total of 168. Kelsey Kawaguchi withdrew from the round with a hand injury.
