
UC Irvine Competes In March Mayhem

OFF THE TEE
UCI will compete at the SDSU March Mayhem at the Farms Monday-Wednesday (Mar. 21-23).
The Anteaters will take on No. 1 seed USC to start the tournament Monday.
The tournament is 72 holes of match play. Teams will play 36 holes Monday, 18 holes Tuesday and 18 holes Wednesday.
This is the fourth year of the tournament and second with the match play format.
Round 1 seeding was determined by Golfstat ranking as of March 16, while Championship/Consolation brackets determined by previous round results.
Tee times Monday begin at 7:30 a.m. off #1 and #10 and Tuesday and Wednesday at 7:45 a.m. off #1 and #10
The tournament features seven teams ranked in the Top 20.
Teams competing and seeds: 1 USC, 2. UCLA, 3. Arizona, 4. Stanford, 5. California, 6. Arizona State, 7. San Diego State, 8. Oregon, 9. Colorado, 10. TCU, 11. UC Davis, 12. Kansas, 13. Texas State, 14. Memphis, 15. Delaware and 16. UC Irvine.
The Farms Golf Club plays at Par 72 over 6,211 yards.

The Anteater team will consist of Samantha Chan, Kelsey Kawaguchi, Camille Wagg, Breanne Jones and Joy Kim.
This is the final tournament before the Anteaters compete at the Big West Championships April 17-19 at the Kapalua Bay Course in Kapalua, Hawaii.
IN THE CLUBHOUSE
The Anteaters finished 16th (960) at the Bruin Wave Invitational held at the San Luis Obispo Country Club.
Junior Samantha Chan led UCI with a two-day score of 235 (78-77-80) which was tied for 46th position.
