
UC Irvine Concludes Second Round at Makai Invitational

PRINCEVILLE, Kaua'i, Hawai'i --- UC Irvine concluded play in the second round of the Warrior Princeville Makai Invitational at Princeville, Kaua'i, Hawai'i, Monday.
The Anteaters and Idaho are tied for 18th place at 603 after 36 holes. Mississippi leads the tournament at 553 while Missouri and Sam Houston State are tied for second at 566.
Junior Jonathan Young led the 'Eaters with a 1-over 73 in the second round and is in 52nd place at 148 at the Makai Golf Club at Princeville.
Juniors David Kim (75) and Ryan O'Connor (76) are tied for 68th place at 151, sophomore Ramiz Jamal is in 80th at 153 after a 77 Monday while freshman Jonathan Kang (78) is 82nd at 154.
Hayden Buckley from Missouri is the leader at 10-under 134 after shooting 68 in the second round.
The final round is scheduled for Tuesday beginning at 11:00 a.m. (PT).
