IRVINE, Calif. --- Seven UC Irvine men's water polo players have earned Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Academic honors for the 2015 season.

UCI's representatives on the All-Academic team are Pablo Carballo, Brendan Duffy, Ty Hack, Brock Ivancovich, Lovre Milos, Larson Pfeil and Chris Swieca.

This is the fourth year that Pfeil and Swieca have earned the award, the third for Carballo and Ivancovich, and the second for Hack.

Criteria for the award includes a minimum 3.0 grade-point average, a sophomore academic standing, one full academic year at the institution prior to this past season and competing in at least 50 percent of the team's competition during the season.

Seventy-eight UCI men's water polo student-athletes have received MPSF All-Academic recognition in Marc Hunt's 11 seasons as head coach.
