Final Women's Results
STANFORD, Calif. --- Senior Courtney Sharar was UC Irvine's top runner Saturday at the 42nd annual Stanford University Invitational.
Sharar covered 6,000 meters in 23:09.9 at the Stanford Golf Course to finish 115th in the field of 255 runners.
Yulissa Mendoza finished 123rd in 23:14.3, Lisa Vasquez was 129th in 23:18.9 and Alice Yang 133rd in 23:23.4.
Megan Mirkhanian placed 173rd in 23:57.5, Hannah Ruby 187th (24:17.3) and Aliya Shah was 198th (24:36.0).
Erin Teschuk of North Dakota State won the individual title with a time of 20:06.8.
Stanford was team champion with 44 points, Cal Poly was second with 65, UC Davis was third with 187 and UCI placed 21st with 561.
Next up for UCI is the Highlander Invitational at Riverside Oct. 17.
