Mustang Challenge Information

 

IRVINE, Calif. --- The UC Irvine women's cross country team returns to action Saturday in the Mustang Challenge, hosted by The Master's College, at Central Park in Santa Clarita.

The women's 5,000-meter race is scheduled to begin at 8:00 a.m.  Twenty-three teams are entered.

UCI opened the season Sept. 5 in its own adidas/UCI Invitational, placing ninth.  Senior Courtney Sharar led the Anteaters with a 34th-place finish of 159 runners.

Following Saturday's meet, UCI competes in the Stanford Invitational Sept. 26 at the Stanford Golf Course.
