THIS WEEKEND

● Eighth-ranked UC Irvine, 5-0 on the season, competes in the Kap7 NorCal Invitational Saturday and Sunday at Stanford.

● Coach Marc Hunt's 'Eaters open against No. 12 Princeton Saturday at 9:25 a.m. at Avery Pool.  Depending on outcomes, UCI will face either USC or Redlands later Saturday afternoon.

● UCI is the tournament's seventh seed and Princeton is seeded 10th.

● UCI is coming off a 16-7 win at California Baptist Wednesday night as junior Kyle Trush tied his career high with four goals.


BY THE NUMBERS

● Senior Pablo Carballo and junior Lovre Milos lead the 'Eaters in scoring with 11 goals apiece.
 
● Juniors Kyle Trush and Antoine Lena follow with nine goals each while sophomore Matt Skinner has seven.

● Seniors Larson Pfeil and Jared Osborn, and freshman Jack Trush, have scored six goals each while sophomore Ryan Warde has five.

● Senior Dylan Peterson has started all five games, registering 50 saves for the season.


LOOKING AHEAD

● UCI opens its 2015 home schedule Oct. 1, hosting UC San Diego at 7:00 p.m. at the Anteater Aquatics Complex.
