THIS WEEK

● Eighth-ranked UC Irvine, 4-0 on the season, travels to Riverside Wednesday night to take on California Baptist in a non-conference game at 7:00.

● Coach Marc Hunt's 'Eaters compete in the NorCal Tournament at Stanford this weekend.  UCI opens against 11th-ranked Princeton Saturday at 9:25 a.m. at Avery Pool.

● UCI is coming off wins of 14-3 over Redlands and 19-9 over 18th-ranked Whittier College last Saturday in the Inland Empire Classic at Redlands.


BY THE NUMBERS

● Junior Lovre Milos leads the 'Eaters with 11 goals, including a season-high five in the Sept. 5 win over Loyola Marymount.

● Senior Pablo Carballo, after scoring a career-high four goals in last Saturday's victory over Redlands, has eight goals on the season, as does junior Antoine Lena.

● Senior Jared Osborn, junior Kyle Trush and sophomores Matt Skinner and Ryan Warde have five goals each, while freshman Jack Trush has four. 

● Senior goalkeeper Dylan Peterson has 42 saves in four starts, including a career-high 16 in the season-opening win over Loyola Marymount.
