
David Kniffin Leads Trio Of Anteaters At World University Games

Colorado Springs, Colo. -- USA Volleyball announced UC Irvine head coach David Kniffin will lead the U.S. men's team at the World University Games (WUG) and be joined by current Anteaters Jason Agopian, Kyle Russell and Michael Saeta.
The World University Games will be held July 4-12 in Gwangju, South Korea.
"This group of student-athletes represents a wonderful cross-section of universities at the Division I-II level," Kniffin said.
Kniffin, who will be assisted by Mount Olive's David Heller and Ball State's Joel Walton, heads a team of 12 collegiate players from seven different universities. UCI leads the way with three players on the team.
Outside hitter Thomas Hodges will represent Austraila at the games.
