Eight Men's Volleyball Players Honored As MPSF All-Academic

Irvine, Calif. -- Men's volleyball had a school record eight student-athletes earn Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Academic distinction.
Jason Agopian, Andrew Benz, Roberto Frazzoni, Tamir Hershko, Zack La Cavera, Michael Saeta, Travis Woloson and Reid Dominquez were all recognized.
To receive the award, student-athletes must have a 3.0 or better cumulative grade point average, be at least a sophomore academically, completed one full academic year at the institution prior to the season for which the award is being received and have competed in fifty percent or more of the institution's competition.
In total, 56 men's volleyball student-athletes from 12 institutions were honored with the all-academic accolade. Only Stanford had more athletes honored than UCI.
