
Freshman Mary Brooks Named Buffalo Wild Wings Anteater of the Week

IRVINE, Calif. – Freshman Mary Brooks of women's water polo has been named this week's Buffalo Wild Wings Anteater of the Week.
The Big West Freshman of the Year scored nine goals for the Anteaters in the NCAA Tournament, including four goals in the 6-5 win over Princeton to give UC Irvine a fifth-place finish in the nation.
Brooks averaged 3.0 goals per game in the NCAA Tournament and was named All-Tournament Second team. Dating back to the Big West Tournament, Brooks scored 15 goals in five games to end the season. As a freshman, she finished with 36 goals and led the team in scoring in five games.
