LOS ANGELES --- UC Irvine senior Mason Miller finished sixth in the discus throw at the UCLA Legends Invitational Friday.
Miller registered a mark of 148-5 in the meet, which continues Saturday.
At the San Francisco State Distance Carnival, senior Alex Tebbe finished 11th in the 5,000 meters with a time of 14:18.99.
Tommy Newton-Neal was 38th in the 3,000-meter steeplechase (9:45.68) and Jake Williams placed 42nd in the 1500 meters (3:56.89) while Riley Martin was 100th (4:12.40).
