IRVINE, Calif. --- UC Irvine's dominance over Cal State Fullerton continued with a 7-0 sweep Wednesday afternoon at Anteater Tennis Stadium.
No. 41 UCI (9-3, 3-0) started things off right taking two of three doubles matches to earn the initial point and lead, 1-0.
Singles went UCI's way winning five of the six opening sets over the Titans (5-7, 0-4). Ali Facey fought through an ailment at the end of her match, but persevered for the 6-0, 6-0 win. Vivien Dvali and Kat Facey would come together with simultaneous sweeps to clinch the match en route to the 7-0 result.
UCI has its big test on Friday welcoming No. 35 Long Beach State into Anteater Tennis, a place where the 'Eaters last beat LBSU. The match starts at 1:30 p.m.
