RIVERSIDE, Calif. --- UC Irvine's Kyle Hubbard won the 110-meter hurdles at the UCR Spring Classic in Riverside Saturday.
The Anteater junior placed first in the event with a time of 14.72 and teammate Oliver Pham finished fourth in 15.21.
Freshman Matt Dispenza was second in the high jump at 6-6 ¾ and seventh in the long jump with a mark of 21-5 ½.
Lawrence O'Hara finished sixth in the shot put at 50-4 ¾ while Jake Williams was eighth in the 800 meters in 1:54.81, as was Charles Michinock in the 400-meter hurdles (65.33).
Also scoring points for the 'Eaters were Michael Hamill, who placed ninth in the 100 meters (11.31), and Riley Martin, who was 10th in the 1500 meters (3:57.69).
UCI finished seventh in the meet with 32 points.
