IRVINE, Calif. --- The Anteaters made quick work of Eastern Washington with a 6-1 victory Saturday afternoon in Anteater Tennis Stadium.

UCI (15-9, 1-0) swept through doubles led by a 6-0 set win from Sebastian Heim and Nico Mertens.

The 'Eaters gained five singles points via a sweep while EWU (3-10) didn't come away empty handed with a three-set comeback win at No. 6 singles from senior Stefan Farrar.

UC Irvine boosts its win streak to nine matches now with a rare neutral site match coming tomorrow. The 'Eaters close up the Oracle Collegiate Challenge out at Indian Wells Tennis Garden against Purdue at 12:00 p.m.
