2015 Big West Tournament MVP Named Buffalo Wild Wings Anteater of the Week

IRVINE, Calif. --- After helping the Anteaters reach their first NCAA Tournament, senior Will Davis II has earned Buffalo Wild Wings Anteater of the Week honors once again. 

Davis II was named the Big West Tournament's MVP after recording double-doubles in each of the three tourney games, being the first player in history to record three double-doubles in a Big West Tournament. In the three contests, he averaged 15.0 points, 11.7 rebounds, and shot 66.7 percent from the field.

In the quarterfinal game against UC Riverside, Davis led UCI in scoring with 17 points on 8-of-10 shooting and added 10 boards. The senior forward erupted in the semifinal game versus UC Santa Barbara, as he led UCI in scoring again with 18 points (7-11), 15 rebounds, two assists, and a block. In the tourney clincher, Davis recorded 10 points and 10 rebounds to bring March Madness to UC Irvine.

The No. 13 seed 'Eaters will face the fourth-seeded Louisville Cardinals at KeyArena in Seattle, Wash. on Friday, March 20. Tip off is set for approximately 1:10 p.m. (PT) on TBS.
