THIS WEEK
● UC Irvine hosts Concordia University in a non-conference game Wednesday night before returning to Mountain Pacific Sports Federation action Saturday, hosting league newcomer San Jose State at noon. The 'Eaters travel to USC Sunday for a 1:00 p.m. conference contest against the Trojans.
● Coach Marc Hunt's 'Eaters are facing Concordia and San Jose State for the first time this season. SJSU brought its program back this season after a 34-year hiatus. USC topped UCI, 12-4, at the NorCal Invitational Sept. 19.
● Concordia is coached by former Anteater All-American Dreason Barry and his staff includes UCI alums Greg Enloe and Bobby McDonald.
LAST WEEK
● UCI fell on the road, 6-5, at UC Santa Barbara last Saturday and was downed 7-0 at home against Stanford Sunday.
● Senior goalie Dylan Peterson had 31 saves in the two games.
BY THE NUMBERS
● Juniors Kyle Trush (35 goals) and Lovre Milos (33 goals) rank 13th and 14th, respectively, in scoring in the MPSF. Trush has scored 106 goals in his UCI career and Milos 125.
● Senior Jared Osborn has 27 goals on the season, sophomore Matt Skinner 23 and senior Pablo Carballo 21.
● Sophomore Ryan Warde with 19 goals, junior Antoine Lena 15, senior Larson Pfeil 12 and freshman Jack Trush 11 round out the double-digit scorers for the 'Eaters.
● Senior Dylan Peterson, with 236 saves on the season, leads the MPSF with an average of 13.27 stops per game. He has 499 saves in his Anteater career.
ON THE HORIZON
● UCI hosts Pepperdine in the regular-season finale Nov. 13 at 7:00 p.m. The MPSF Tournament is Nov. 20-22 at USC.
