Women's Golf Inks Grace Ferrell

Irvine, Calif. -- UC Irvine head women's golf coach Julie Brooks announced the signing of Grace Ferrell to a national letter of intent.
"I am really excited that Grace will be on the team next season Brooks said. "She is mentally tough and has a great work ethic. She knows what it takes to succeed in the classroom and on the course."
Ferrell is a local standout from Newport Harbor High School where she is a three-time Sunset League MVP. In October, she captured the Sunset League individual title capping a successful senior campaign. In 10 Sunset League matches this season, Ferrell was the medalist in eight and co-medalist twice. In her four years as a Sailor, the three-time Principal Honor Roll student won a school record 40 medalist honors.
In junior golf, Ferrell finished eighth at the Toyota Tour Cup College Showcase at the Monarch Beach Golf Links earlier this year.
