THIS WEEK
● UC Irvine hosts Pepperdine Friday night in the 'Eaters' regular-season finale and in a game that could be important to seeding for next week's Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Tournament.
● Friday night is Senior Night at Anteater Aquatics Complex as UCI seniors Pablo Carballo, Jared Osborn, Dylan Peterson, Larson Pfeil and Chris Swieca will be recognized prior to the game.
● The teams have met twice earlier this season, with UCI winning 12-9 at the NorCal Invitational Sept. 20 and 13-12 in the SoCal Invitational Oct. 10.
LAST WEEK
● Coach Marc Hunt's UCI squad went 2-1 last week, defeating Concordia, 25-9, and San Jose State, 11-3, before falling at USC, 14-8.
● Junior Lovre Milos scored 13 goals in the three contests, including six in the victory over Concordia.
● Sophomore goalie Byron Rivers made 11 stops against Concordia and senior Dylan Peterson had 13 saves against San Jose State.
BY THE NUMBERS
● Junior Lovre Milos, with 46 goals on the season, ranks seventh in the MPSF with a scoring average of 2.09 goals per game. Junior Kyle Trush has 38 goals this year.
● Sophomore Matt Skinner has scored 32 goals, senior Jared Osborn has 30 and senior Pablo Carballo 27.
● Sophomore Ryan Warde with 20 goals, junior Antoine Lena 17, senior Larson Pfeil 13 and freshman Jack Trush 11 round out the double-digit scorers for the 'Eaters.
● Senior Dylan Peterson, with 257 saves on the season, leads the MPSF with an average of 12.99 stops per game.
ON THE HORIZON
● UCI competes in the MPSF Tournament at USC Nov. 20-22.
