UC Irvine Athletics, KDOC-TV Partner for Basketball Coverage

IRVINE, Calif. --- UC Irvine Athletics and KDOC-TV have formed a partnership to air select men's basketball games this season.
The first game to be televised live on KDOC is this Sunday's UCI contest against Loyola Marymount at 5:00 p.m. from the Bren Events Center. Future dates will be announced later.

"This partnership fits perfectly with KDOC's mission to broadcast compelling local sports to LA/OC television viewers. UCI has built an incredible program and this year's team promises to be its strongest ever!"
UCI, under sixth-year head coach Russell Turner, is coming off the program's first appearance in the NCAA Division I Tournament last March, when the Anteaters narrowly fell to three-time national champion Louisville, 57-55.
The 'Eaters won the Big West Conference Tournament for the initial time last season to earn the NCAA berth and have won 65 games over the past three years.
UCI opens the regular season Friday night hosting UC San Diego at 7:00.
