Anteaters Off To Hot Start At Aggie Invitational

Las Cruces, NM – UC Irvine had its best round of the year on the first day of the Aggie Invitational held at the NMSU Golf Course.
The Anteaters fired a first round total of 295, trailing BYU (282) and host New Mexico State (288).
Junior Samantha Chan posted a season-best 72 and is tied for eighth place. Kristin Hennis is tied for 13th place (73) and sophomore Breanne Jones is tied for 18th with a 74. Sophomore Camille Wagg is in 35th spot (76) and sophomore Kelsey Kawaguchi is tied for 43rd (77).
The tournament continues with 18 holes Tuesday and Wednesday.
