THIS WEEK
● Two key MPSF games await the seventh-ranked Anteaters this weekend, as UCI travels to No. 6 UC Santa Barbara Saturday before hosting fifth-ranked Stanford Sunday. Both games begin at noon.
● These will be the first meetings of the season for UCI against either opponent. Stanford is at Long Beach State Saturday before facing the 'Eaters Sunday.
LAST WEEK
● The 'Eaters were downed by No. 1 UCLA, 15-8, last Sunday in an MPSF game at home.
● Jared Osborn had three fourth-quarter goals to lead UCI while Pablo Carballo added a pair of scores.
BY THE NUMBERS
● Juniors Kyle Trush (34 goals) and Lovre Milos (31 goals) rank 10th and 12th, respectively, in scoring in the MPSF.
● Senior Jared Osborn has 26 goals on the season, sophomore Matt Skinner 22 and senior Pablo Carballo 21.
● Sophomore Ryan Warde has scored 19 goals, junior Antoine Lena 15, senior Larson Pfeil 12 and freshman Jack Trush 11 to round out the 'Eaters' double-digit scorers.
● Senior Dylan Peterson, with 205 saves on the season, leads the MPSF with an average of 12.99 stops per game.
ON THE HORIZON
● UCI hosts Concordia Nov. 4 in a non-conference game at 7:00 p.m. before facing MPSF newcomer San Jose State Nov. 7 in a league game at noon. The 'Eaters travel to USC Nov. 8 for a 1:00 p.m. conference contest against the Trojans.
