Alumni Match Coming to Fullerton Saturday

IRVINE, Calif. --- Saturday's men's soccer match will have an added layer to it featuring an Alumni Match prior to the contest between the Anteaters and Titans.
"There is a lot of history and tradition between UC Irvine and Cal State Fullerton," noted Head Coach Chris Volk who has spent 19 years around the UC Irvine soccer program. "Many alumni from both soccer programs still reside in the Orange County area. Aside from being an important Big West Conference game, this is a crosstown rivalry that draws support from the Orange County soccer community. Alumni, families, fans and friends will all be in attendance cheering for their respective team."
The two sides will come together Saturday evening, prior to the Big West match, at the track field adjacent to Titan Stadium with gates opening at 4:00 p.m. and the match set to begin at 5:00 p.m.
