'Eaters Run at Riverside Saturday

IRVINE, Calif. --- The UC Irvine men's cross country team returns to competition Saturday in the Highlander Invitational at Riverside.
The men's 6,000-meter race is scheduled to begin at 8:00 a.m. on the UCR Agricultural Operations Course.
UCI's last meet was three weeks ago when the 'Eaters finished ninth at the Stanford Invitational Sept. 26 on the strength of Isaiah Thompson's 12th-place showing.
Following this Saturday's meet, UCI will return to Riverside for the Big West Conference Championships Oct. 31.
