Player Capsule: Arielle Manz
By the Numbers
14 – The number Manz is currently ranked in the UCI career records in block assists. She has posted 191 stuffs and needs six to move up the ladder to No. 13.
120 – Number of block assists Manz posted in 2012 to claim the No. 5 spot in the UCI single-season records.
Arielle is a force to be reckoned with at the net. The veteran middle led UCI to a 2.36 blocking average, fifth-best in the conference. She is a physical presence along the net on both the offense and defensive sides of the ball and has worked extremely hard to become a complete middle blocker that can hit every set. Looking to be a go-to player on the offensive end, Manz is also a great leader that will give opposing teams some fits this year.

"My time at UCI has been so much more than I ever thought it would be. We faced a lot of adversity that has only fueled our desire to make this season and every season to come, something we can be proud of. The lessons I've learned from my coaches and these girls have been invaluable and something that I will carry with me forever.
