Orange County Brain Tumor Walk Information
UC Irvine's 7-6 sophomore center, Mamadou Ndiaye, was joined by teammates, coaches, family and friends in participating in the Orange County Brain Tumor Walk this past Saturday morning at Angel Stadium of Anaheim.
The Walk helps raise awareness and resources to fund critical brain tumor-specific programs to improve the lives of all those affected by brain tumors. Hosted by the National Brain Tumor Society, the Orange County Brain Tumor Walk offers individuals and teams a chance to honor and remember loved ones, connect with others interested in the brain tumor cause, and helps to educate the local community on the diverse needs of the brain tumor community.
Ndiaye, a brain tumor survivor, has participated in the Walk the last several years.
"I enjoy taking part in the event and I think people are glad to see me there because I can make them happy and we can talk about beating brain tumors," Ndiaye said.
