PROVIDENCE, R.I. --- Eighth-ranked UC Irvine improved to 6-0 on the season with a 20-8 victory over No. 18 Harvard in the Bruno Fall Classic at Providence, R.I., Saturday.
Lovre Milos notched six goals and Jacob Mourer five for the 'Eaters, who led 13-3 at halftime.
Kyle Trush, Matt Skinner and Jared Osborn added two goals apiece. Dylan Peterson (14 saves) and Byron Rivers (13 saves) split halves in goal.
UCI broke away from a 2-2 tie midway through the first quarter with 10 unanswered goals to ease to the win.
Joey Colton led the Crimson with four goals and Ben Zepfel added three.
"We played fast, which was good, but we need to be better, top to bottom defensively, if we want to succeed in our conference play," Anteaters' head coach Marc Hunt said.
UCI wraps up play in the Bruno Fall Classic Sunday facing St. Francis Brooklyn and Princeton at the Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center.
