
Anteaters Finish 13th At SDSU Farms Invitational

Rancho Santa Fe, Calif. -- UC Irvine finished 13th at the San Diego State Farms Invitational at the Farms Golf Club Wednesday.
The Anteaters stayed in 13th place from start to finish, ending with a 56-hole total of 936 (313-311-312). USC had four players in the top 21, including medalist Karen Chung (208), to win the team title with a score of three-under par 681.
Freshman Kaley In paced UCI with a 29th place finish after recording a 225 (76-72-77). Senior Ronnie Valerio shot a team-low 72 on the final round and finished in a tie for 47th at 231 (78-81-72). Senior Taryn Yee was tied for 72nd with a three day score of 240 (81-77-82), while senior Sara Banke was 85th at 246 (78-84-84) and freshman Samantha Chan was 87 with a score of 249 (87-81-81).
The Anteaters will compete at the Long Beach State Gold Rush April 7-8 at the Yorba Linda Country Club.
