The Anteaters currently have three players with at least 100 career goals: Jessy Cardey (197), Hannah Croghan (144), and Danielle Warde (132).

McKenna Mitchell became the sixth Anteater with six goals in a match joining current 'Eaters Jessy Cardey and Hannah Croghan, and Erica Horman's seven-goal match from 2002.

Four Anteaters currently have 30+ goals; McKenna Mitchell (38), Danielle Warde (34), Jessy Cardey (31), and Hannah Croghan (30).

UCI has failed to score in four periods all season. It averages 11.3 goals per match.

UCI is allowing 5.88 goals per match including a 2.28 goals-against-average from Annika Nelson in 136 minutes.

POWER PLAYS

UC Irvine's win over No. 4 Arizona State matched the highest-ranked opponent UCI has defeated in the program's history. The 'Eaters upset No. 4 Hawaii in February of 2007, 10-4.

UCI had its highest finish in the UC Irvine Invitational finishing sixth.

The Anteaters have two wins in which they needed to overcome a halftime deficit. UCI beat UC Davis 8-5 after trailing 3-2 at the half, and again this weekend defeated SDSU 13-6 after trailing at halftime, 5-4.

KICKOUTS

UC Irvine captured Big West Player of the Week five times so far with Danielle Warde, Hannah Croghan, Jillian Yocum and McKenna Mitchell twice.

The Anteaters began the season ranked sixth in the nation and have been ranked as high as fifth. UCI finished 2013 ranked seventh in the nation with a record of 21-9.

UCI captured a share of the Big West regular season title in 2013, its fourth to match the four Big West Tournament titles.

WHAT CAN BROWN DO FOR YOU?

UCI returns from a two-week hiatus to take on Brown in the middle of their California swing.

The Brown Bears return to Anteater Aquatics Complex for the first time since 2009. Brown and UCI have met four times, twice in Irvine, with UCI taking all four matches ranging from five to eight-goal victories.

The Bears are 5-8 early on in the 2013 season.

They have struggled with losses against Hartwick, Iona, Santa Clara, and Pacific. The Bears' best win has come against Wagner who they have split with in two matches.

On its California swing, the Bears will play 12 matches that includes four ranked schools in UCI, LMU, Cal Baptist, and San Diego State.

Brown's leading scorer is senior Kate Woods with 32 goals. She also adds 20 assists and team-leading 32 steals.

Another senior Emily McNamara follows with 20 goals and 26 exclusions earned. Liz Rosen is the assist-leader with 23 along with 24 steals.

Senior keeper Sarah Shin has stopped 66 shots while allowing 143 goals.
