IRVINE, Calif. --- The Anteaters rebounded from a minor setback at LMU to pounce on their conference rival, UCSB, for a 6-1 win Saturday at Anteater Tennis Stadium.

Nos. 1 and 2 doubles breezed to 8-1 and 8-0 victories to secure the initial point.

UCI (4-5, 2-0) would take five of six singles including Franziska Goettsching's first win of the season in straight sets and Sarah Stadfelt extending her dual-match record to 6-2.

The 'Eaters continue their home stretch with a Fri. 1:30 p.m. match against BYU on Feb. 28.
