UCI is 12-11 overall, a three-game improvement over last year (9-21). It is the third time the Anteaters have recorded double-digit wins in the last 10 years, recording 13 wins in 2011-12 and 15 in 2010-11.

The Anteaters are 5-4 in the Big West, matching last year's total (5-13).

Buckley moved into 10th all-time at UCI in career free throws made (228). This season she is 136-174 from the line, which ranks third most in a season at UCI and ninth in attempted.

The senior, who is ranked 21st nationally in rebounding, leads the Big West in boards at 10.8 per game and is one of two players to average a double-double on the year with a 16.5 scoring mark. She is ranked fifth among league players in points per game.

The forward posted 15 points and 21 rebounds to lead the Anteaters past Long Beach State, 78-58. It was Buckley's second consecutive 20+ rebound performance with 12 of those caroms coming on the offensive end. She also hit 9 of 10 from the free throw line. Buckley notched her 10th double-double of the season in the winning effort.

The 20-point victory over the 49ers was the second largest for UC Irvine this season following a 23-point win over New Mexico State on Dec. 18, 2013. It was the second time this season, five UC Irvine players scored in double-figures -  Methlyn Onogomuho (15), Madison McKenney (14), Jennifer Tsurumoto (11) and Jasmine Bernard (10).

In a 79-73 overtime win over UC Davis, Buckley topped the squad with 23 points and eight rebounds. Methlyn Onogomuho scored five of UCI's 11 points in overtime to secure the victory and recorded a career-best 20 points and career-high 13 rebounds, shooting 6-10 from the floor and 8-9 from the line.

UCI has out-rebounded opponents in three of the last four games. The Anteaters pulled down 55 boards versus Long Beach State last week, which was tied for the third most this season. UCI is averaging 43.0 rebounds, while opponents pull them down at a 41.7 clip. The +1.3 rebound margin ranks second best in the league.

The Anteaters are averaging 72.7 points per game which is second in the Big West. The school record for scoring average is 70.1 set by the 1983-84 squad.
