A busy week starts with a 7:00 p.m. game at South Dakota on Monday (Nov. 24) then ends at the DoubleTree LA Westside Thanksgiving Classic hosted by Loyola Marymount on Friday and Saturday (Nov. 28-29).
Pavilion. The Anteaters will take on host LMU or UAB on Saturday at either 1 or 3:00 p.m.
Fajemisin had six points, four rebounds and four blocks in the win.
Last year was the first meeting between the Coyotes and Anteaters.
Monday's game is the home opener for South Dakota who has played the first four contests on the road with a 2-2 record.
The Coyotes lost at Washington, 96-82, last Thursday.
South Dakota is coming off its first Division I NCAA Tournament appearance, where it lost to Stanford 81-62 in the first round.
Raeshe Contreras (16.3), Nicole Seekamp (14.5), Kelly Stewart (10.8) and Margaret McCloud (10.0) all average double-digit scoring for South Dakota.
This will be the first meeting between UCI and Bowling Green.
The Anteaters lost in the championship of the DoubleTree LA Westside Thanksgiving Classic a year ago when North Dakota State hit a three-pointer with 2.9 second left to claim a 64-61 victory and the tournament title.
UCI beat the Lions in the first game of the tournament 63-60, extending the Anteaters current winning streak to three over LMU.
UC Irvine leads Loyola Marymount, 11-6 in the series records overall.
UCI has met Alabama-Birmingham once before, losing to the Blazers 79-71 in 1982-83.
Last week, UCI dropped two games at home, falling to Pepperdine (76-53) and San Jose State (91-65).
Jenny Dee paced UCI with 11 points in 11 minutes off the bench in the loss to Pepperdine.
UCI committed 36 turnovers in the loss to San Jose State, which resulted in 47 Spartan points.
UCI's 63 points was a season-high.
Mokun Fajemisin led the Anteaters against the Spartans with her third career double-double, posting 17 points and 12 rebounds. Her 12 boards tied her career best.
Redshirt freshman Brittany Glassow has logged the most minutes on the team (113) and is second in scoring (7.8) and rebounding (5.0).
The Anteaters have managed just eight three-pointers this year while giving up 27 in the first four games. Dee leads the team with five.
UCI out-rebounded both opponents last week, 97-81.
Fajemisin leads the squad with a 10.8 points and 6.0 rebound average.
