2014-15 Player Capsule: Madison McKenney
.372 – She shot .372 from three-point distance against Big West opponents, hitting 16-43 treys versus conference foes last season which ranked ninth among league players.
31 – The guard drained 31 three-pointers overall last season.
1.000 – In 2010-11 while playing for CSU Bakersfield, she went 8-8 from the floor, including 6-6 in three-pointers which was the Roadrunner's Division I record for highest field goal percentage in a game (1.000, 8-8) as well as three-point field goal percentage in a game (1.000, 6-6). McKenney's 22 points at her old school that night came against her current team, UC Irvine.
A CLOSER LOOK
She is a sharp-shooting guard who is looking to cap her career with a stellar senior season. Her enthusiasm is unmatched and she will be looked upon to be a defensive stopper this year. The Anteaters will rely not only on her shooting, but her leadership qualities.
