UC Irvine Competes at Vanguard Invitational Saturday

IRVINE, Calif. --- The UC Irvine women's cross country team competes in the 25th annual Vanguard Invitational Saturday morning at Fairview Park in Costa Mesa.
The women's 5,000-meter race is scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m.
UCI last competed Sept. 27 at the Stanford Invitational where the team placed 18th. Kaycee Holcomb was the Anteaters' top runner, finishing 59th among all NCAA Division I competitors.
Following this Saturday's meet, UCI is back in action Oct. 18 at the Highlander Invitational in Riverside on the UCR Agricultural Operations Course.
