• UCI looks to extend its win streak to a season-high five matches when the Anteaters host Cal State Fullerton this Friday.
• Not only are the Anteaters riding a four-match win streak, they are also sporting a three-match sweep streak.
• At 14-7, UCI has already matched its win total from 2013 and the second-highest number of wins in head coach Paula Weishoff's tenure.
• Weishoff led the Anteaters to 22 wins in 2009. 
• UCI tops the Big West in hitting (.256), kills (14.22), assists (13.22) and digs (16.41) and are third in aces (1.41) and opponent hitting percentage (.195).
• Against UC Davis, the Anteaters scooped up 85 digs, a Big West best in three-set matches this year.
• The 85 digs are one shy of the season-best by the team, which totaled 86 in a five-set win against UCSB earlier this year.

THE BIG WEST LOGJAM

• The Anteaters are in the thick of the Big West race and at 4-3 are tied for fifth.
• Long Beach State is undefeated at 6-0 while CSUN, UC Davis and Hawai'i are tied for second at 4-2.
• UCI is tied with the Gauchos at 4-3.

MANZ BLISTERS ON OFFENSE, JUMPS TO No. 5 IN BIG WEST

• Arielle Manz had back-to-back errorless matches to hit .500 last week and jumped from seventh to fifth in the Big West with a .331 hitting percentage.
• Against UC Riverside, Manz put away seven kills in 10 attempts to hit .700 and then followed the effort by knocking down six of 16 kills for a .375 clip.
• Manz also totaled four block assists to move up one spot to No. 11 in the UCI career records with 219 block assists.
• The middle blocker passes former teammate, Aly Squires who registered 215 from 2010-13.
• Manz needs four block assists to tie for the No. 10 spot, currently held by Cindy Rohrig (1982-85), who had 223.

SHELLEY STEADY AT No. 1

• Shelley Anderson remains the top setter in the Big West, improving her average from 11.05 to 11.21.
• Anderson recorded a combined 78 assists in the two matches last week, added four blocks against UC Riverside and 12 digs against the Aggies.
• Anderson is ranked 20th in the country in assist average and 69th in total assists.

ROSENFELD IS FORCE UP FRONT

• Ella Rosenfeld posted a 1.17 blocking average in two matches last week on  seven block assists.
• The middle blocker moved into a tie for the top spot in total blocks with Allison Lee with the duo logging 42 blocks apiece.
• Rosenfeld also went errorless offensively against UC Davis, putting away five of 10 attempts for a .500 hitting percentage.

PICKRELL CONTINUES TO PICK UP ANTEATERS

• Cassidy Pickrell recorded 28 kills and 24 digs in two matches last week in the Anteater sweeps.
• In Big West matches, the outside hitter is second in the league with a 3.96 kill average and third in points per set at 4.48.
• Pickrell has been a pro from the service line and tops the team with 34 aces to rank 14th in the country and 25th in ace average (.44).
• Overall, Pickrell moved up one spot to fourth in the conference with a 3.59 kill average and is fourth in points per set at 4.22.

LEE CLIMBS CONFERENCE LADDER

• Allison Lee has also been a key cog in the Anteater game plan and with a 3.17 kill-per-set clip, moved up to eighth.
• Lee, also inched up one spot to No. 8 in points per set at 3.84.
• Lee can be found at No. 10 in the Big West with a 3.36 dig average.
• With 31 aces on the year, Lee is 31st in the nation and 49th with a .40 average.

ABOUT THE TITANS

• Cal State Fullerton is 7-13 overall and eighth in the Big West with a 1-6 mark.
• The Titans had a seven-match losing streak halted with a 3-1 win over UC Riverside last week.
• CSF is led by Niki Withers, who is averaging 3.60 kills per set and has amassed 270.
• CSF holds a 14.11-13.31 advantage in digs with McKenna Painton leading the team with a 3.69 average and 277 on the year.
• UCI leads 43-28 in the all-time series and looks to extend its win streak against the Titans to three this Friday.
