
Jenny Dee Hits From Long Range At Shocktoberfest

Irvine, Calif. -- Redshirt freshman Jenny Dee, along with men's player Luke Nelson, won the three-point shooting contest at Shocktoberfest, the annual kick-off to basketball season.
Dee, knocked down two racks of balls including two "money balls" on her way to winning the title.
The women's team also performed a dance routine with MCIA, a student organized dance group established in 2003 by Athletics to provide entertainment at basketball games.
Men's basketball player Mamadou Ndiaye won the dunk contest with a two-ball slam then students enjoyed Electronic Dance Music by Cash Cash, Slander and Adventure Club following the basketball action.
The women's team begins the season with two exhibitions against Cal Lutheran on Nov. 4 at 7:00 p.m. and Champman on Nov. 8 at 4:00 p.m. Both games are at the Bren Center.
