UC Irvine in 3rd of Suspended 2nd Round at Bill Cullum Invite

 

SIMI VALLEY, Calif. --- UC Irvine is in third place during the suspended second round of the Bill Cullum Invitational at Wood Ranch Golf Club in Simi Valley.

Played was halted in Monday's second round around 6:30 p.m. due to darkness in the 20-team tournament hosted by CSUN.

USC is currently in first place at 19-under, Arizona State is second at 14-under and UCI third at 8-under par.

Anteater freshman Jonathan Young is in 10th place at 3-under through 14 holes of the second round after shooting a 5-under 67 in the first round.

Freshman David Kim also shot a 67 in the opening round and is currently 21st at 1-under.

Senior Pete Fernandez is also in 21st at 1-under as he is 5-under in his second round after opening with a 76.

Junior Jacob Schulze is another UCI player at 1-under and he shot 70 in the first round.

Freshman Johnny Hyun is in 91st place at 9-over.  He shot a 74 in the opening round.

The second round is scheduled to be completed Tuesday morning, followed by the final round.
