Alumni Day Caps Great Weekend

IRVINE, Calif. --- A contingent of UC Irvine alums representing multiple decades gathered at the Anteater Aquatics Complex Sunday for the program's annual Alumni Day.
The event came one day after Coach Marc Hunt's 'Eaters topped seventh-ranked Pacific, 17-10, in a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation game and the 2014 home opener.
The Alumni Day festivities Sunday included UCI Coach Emeritus Ted Newland and the university's first two All-Americans, Pat Glasgow and Bob Nealy.
Sunday's celebration featured a strong cross-section of alumni, including Ryan Bailey, Andy Coffman, Bo de Lange, Greg Enloe, Pete Fischler, Greg Haynes, Ofer Horn, Brandon Johnson, Dan Klatt, Manfredo Lespier, Ty Newland, Winston Newland, Nick Pfeil, Brian Pickford, Jeff Powers, Bruce Reynolds, Tom Warde and Will Woollett.
The alums were victorious, 10-9, in the annual game against a squad of current Anteaters. Scoring for the Alumni team were Brandon Johnson (3), Ryan Bailey (2), Winston Newland (2), Ofer Horn, Pete Fischler and Manfredo Lespier.
