PROVIDENCE, R.I. --- Ninth-ranked UC Irvine built a 10-1 lead after three quarters in defeating No. 16 Brown University, 14-7, at the Bruno Fall Classic in Providence, R.I., Sunday morning.

Senior Bojan Hrlec led the 'Eaters (3-0) with a game-high four goals.  Kyle Trush and Tyler Mancuso added three each while Mitch Wise scored twice.  Jared Osborn and Larson Pfeil added a goal apiece.

Michael Bailey had 11 stops in goal for UCI.

Henry Fox led the host Bears with three goals.

The 'Eaters face Harvard later today.
