PLEASANT HILL, Calif. --- Mitch Wise scored three goals and a trio of other UC Irvine players scored two apiece as the 'Eaters defeated Diablo Valley College, 10-9, in the NorCal Tournament Saturday afternoon at Pleasant Hill.

Bojan Hrlec, Jacob Mourer and Jared Osborn each notched a pair of goals for UCI while Alex Kazmier had eight saves in goal.

UCI outscored the Vikings, 5-1, in the second quarter to take an 8-4 halftime lead.

Since DVC is a community college, the game does not count on UCI's official record.

The 'Eaters continue play in the NorCal Tournament Sunday morning at 10:50, facing UC Davis at Diablo Valley College.
