'Eaters Compete in Mustang Challenge Saturday

IRVINE, Calif. --- UC Irvine returns to action Saturday in The Mustang Challenge, hosted by The Master's College.
The men's 8,000-meter race begins at 9:00 a.m. at Central Park (27200 Bouquet Canyon Road, Santa Clarita).
UCI has been idle since finishing second in the adidas/UCI Invitational Sept. 7.
Sophomore Riley Martin was name Big West Conference Athlete of the Week following his runner-up performance (of 102 runner) in that meet when he recorded a time of 25:28.1 over 8,000 meters.
