La VERNE, Calif. --- Mitch Wise scored four goals and Tyler Mancuso registered three as ninth-ranked UC Irvine topped California Baptist, 13-4, in the Inland Empire Classic at La Verne's Las Flores Pool Saturday afternoon.

Bojan Hrlec added a pair of goals and Michael Bailey had 15 saves in goal for the 'Eaters, who improved to 6-0 on the season.

Cody Wetherbee led the Lancers with two goals.

UCI led 8-4 after three quarters and added five unanswered goals in the final period.

The 'Eaters have two games remaining in the Classic, with Sunday's action moving to Redlands.

UCI faces Occidental at 10:15 a.m. and Pomona-Pitzer at 1:15 p.m.
