Musketeers Slice Anteaters, 2-0

CINCINNATI, Ohio --- UCI's Midwest trip started off rocky with a late defeat to the Xavier Musketeers, 2-0, Tuesday evening at Xavier Soccer Stadium.
The Musketeers (1-3-0) scored their first win of 2013 with a pair of late goals. A scoreless match was broken in the 78th minute by Matt Walker.
Jalen Brown capitalized on a breakaway in the 88th minute to put the match out of reach for the Anteaters.
UCI (2-1-1) managed eight shots with four of them on goal, but could not figure out Musketeer keeper Eric Osswald.
The 'Eaters venture on to Louisville to play the 16th-ranked Cardinals Friday night. The match begins at 4:00 p.m. Pacific time and can be seen on Cards TV for those with a paid subscription.
