Pernilla Hanson Competes For Sweden At World University Games

IRVINE, Calif. – Recently graduated women's basketball player Pernilla Hanson will compete for the Swedish National Team at the World University Games July 6-17 in Kazan, Russia.
Hanson, who has dual Swedish and US citizenship, is currently in Stockholm training with the team before heading to Russia.
Sweden will begin the games in group play against Poland, Russia and Mongolia.
Hanson played two years (2011-13) at forward for the Anteaters after transferring from Point Loma, averaging 3.1 points and 3.1 rebounds last season.
