WALNUT, Calif. --- UC Irvine opened competition Thursday in the 55th annual Mt. SAC Relays at Hilmer Lodge Stadium in Walnut.
Senior Samia Sailinuu led the Anteaters, finishing ninth in her section of the 1500 meters with a time of 4:37.57.
Kaycee Holcomb recorded a time of 4:39.62 in her section while Chloe Fata finished in 4:51.93.
UCI continues action in the Mt. SAC Relays Friday and Saturday, and there also will be a contingent of Anteater competitors in the Beach Invitational at Cerritos College those same two days.
