IRVINE, Calif. --- UCI women's tennis scored a 4-0 sweep of CSUF to claim at least a share of the Big West regular season title Tuesday afternoon at Anteater Tennis Stadium.
Kat Facey and Brooke Schweyer earned the doubles point with an 8-2 win to go along with an 8-2 win from Franziska Goettsching and Kristina Smith.
Marivick Mamiit and Sarah Stadfelt claimed early singles points while Sarah Gong came in a swooped up the clinching point with a 6-1, 6-3 score to put the Anteaters at 8-0 in the Big West and 19-3 overall.
UCI has one final home match on Sun. Apr. 21st at 12:00 p.m. as it hosts Hawaii at Anteater Tennis Stadium.
